California's population is forecast to grow by another 15 million people in the next 20 years. Our freeways and airports are near capacity now.
Not building anything isn't an option.
High Speed Rail would ease the capacity strain on our airports and freeways. It may seem expensive but it's actually cheaper than building a new freeway.
The alternative to High Speed Rail isn't spending $0, it's spending untold billions on new or expanding freeways and airports.
I'm a bit weary of people who post anonymously with all their easy certainty and flimsy grasp on the truth. If you want me to take you even remotely seriously, take the 60 seconds required to create a pseudonym. All that anonymous posting just makes me think somebody's crazy uncle went off their meds.
